What are some of your New Year's resolutions?

I want to become more responsible and a better dicision-maker. I almost wouldn't mind losing some weight here and there.

Never make any they just cause guilt and frustration when broken.

I agree with Goblin. OK, I dig the symbolic nature of them, new year, new person, that kind of thing. But I'd really rather seek self-improvement when it becomes necessary and not on a timetable. Hehehehehehe!

I don't make any, I know I'd just break them 5 minutes after I broke them. New years' eve is just another day to me, and my mom too. When I was a little girl, I made 4 new years resolutions I knew I'd keep, 1, not to drink. 2. not to smoke. 3. not to curse, and 4, not to get married.

I made a typo, I meant to say, I know I'd break mine as soon as I made them.

I do make them but they never work. Seems like I allways forget about them by February.

I think my main new year's resolution is, to not break new year's resolutions anymore, smile. I've learned a lot about my self the last couple of years, and one is that if I just wait and do things in my own sweet time, they never happen. I need to tie myself to a timetable to get anything done because i procrastinate far too much.
So, my new years resolutions:
to loose the wait that i want gone.
to find a job or, failing that, get back in to some kind of education.
to stop touching my eyes. Yeh, it sounds weird, i know. How many blind people poke their eyes? or touch there eyes? it's weird, lol. but anyway, i need to stop that coz conjunctivitis is not good.
think that's pretty much it really... Nothing monumental, but things i really seriously will do!

I forget about those things two days after I make them, but I usually don't make them anyway. My mom's is to "have my kids help out more." Way to go.

Labyrinth I think they are a left over kind of blackmail from the times when the church had a more dominant role in society..and we dont want to return to the miserable
middle ages .

Lol well I haven't thought of a resolution for this year. But I remember when I was little, one of mine was to make a best friend that was a girl, since most of them I had (and really, have now), are boys, and another was to stop pressing my eyes lol, you know, that habit some blind peole have? Hehehe. Caitlin
